Jade Speaks Up Educational Trust is an Aotearoa-based charitable trust focused on creating safer environments for tamariki and rangatahi.

We work with adults, organisations and communities to build the knowledge, confidence and practical capability needed to recognise concerns, respond safely and strengthen cultures of trust, belonging and inclusion. Our work is grounded in the understanding that children’s safety is shaped not only by policies and procedures, but by the everyday behaviour, relationships and decisions of the adults around them.

Through practical training, tailored organisational support and accessible learning resources, we help people put safeguarding, inclusion and safe practice into action. We work across education, sport and recreation, social and community services, care settings and other environments where adults hold responsibility for children and young people.

Our role is not to turn everyday adults into safeguarding specialists; it is to help them act safely within their role, model healthy and respectful behaviour and know when further support is needed, so that collectively we can help build a world where all children can experience greater safety, trust, belonging and protection.
